This Privacy Policy explains what information LotAxis LLC, doing business as LOT AXIS (“LOT AXIS,” “we,” “us”), collects when you visit lotaxis.com, request a demonstration, download a data sheet, or receive our emails, and how we use it. We keep this short and plain on purpose. If anything is unclear, contact us at info@lotaxis.com.
This policy covers our website and marketing only. Data that customers store in the LOT AXIS software is governed by their customer agreement with us.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Demo requests and data sheet downloads: your name, email address and, if you choose to provide them, your company, phone number and message.
- Emails and calls: anything you include when you contact us directly.
Information collected automatically
- Website analytics: we use StatCounter to count visits and see which pages are useful. It records things like pages viewed, referring site, browser and device type, approximate location and IP address.
- Cookies: small files set by our analytics and form tools (see section 4).
- Email engagement: when we send marketing email, our email platform records whether a message was opened and which links were clicked.
We do not collect payment card information on this website, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.
2. How we use it
- To respond to demo requests and questions, and to send the data sheet you asked for.
- To send occasional emails about LOT AXIS, food traceability and product news. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To understand how the website is used and improve it.
- To keep the website secure and comply with legal obligations.
3. Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the website and our communications, and only as needed for them to do that work:
- HubSpot: forms, contact management and email.
- StatCounter: website analytics.
- Google Fonts: displays the fonts on this site (your browser connects to Google to load them).
- Our website hosting provider: stores and serves the website.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of the business, in which case this policy will continue to apply.
4. Cookies
Cookies help us count visits and remember form submissions. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, though some forms may ask for your details again.
5. Marketing emails and your choices
- Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email info@lotaxis.com and we will remove you.
- We send commercial email in line with the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act and, for recipients in Canada, Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under Canada’s PIPEDA and applicable U.S. state privacy laws, you may have the right to:
- ask what personal information we hold about you,
- ask us to correct or delete it,
- withdraw consent to marketing at any time.
To make a request, email info@lotaxis.com. We will respond within 30 days and will not treat you differently for asking.
7. How long we keep it
We keep contact information for as long as there is an active business relationship or you remain subscribed, and delete or anonymize it when it is no longer needed, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
8. Security and where data is stored
We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information. Our service providers may store data in the United States. If you are outside the U.S., your information may be processed there.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed.
